Gather together with Sandpoint’s Longest Table

The Longest Table, created by the nonprofit NYCNext, began as a community potluck in New York City and has since blossomed into a national phenomenon, inspiring dozens of free dinners across the U.S. aimed at fostering local relationships. 

Sponsored by the Innovia Foundation and IdaHope Families, Sandpoint will host its own Longest Table event on Sunday, Sept. 13 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Sandpoint Community Hall (204 N. First Ave.).

“No agenda. Just conversation, connections and community,” wrote organizers. “People of all ages, backgrounds and experiences are invited to come together at one long table.”

Everyone is invited to attend the free dinner and meet with neighbors and new friends for friendly conversation and good food. To attend, RSVP to bit.ly/SandpointTable along with whatever dish you would like to bring.
