A man is dead of a gunshot wound and a suspect is still at large following an altercation at the Meandering Moose on Monday night.
Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect, who is described as a darker-skinned male 20 to 40 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet tall and wearing a light-blue T-shirt and tan shorts.
Details are still scarce of the incident, which took place shortly before 7 p.m. Monday night. Officers arrived at the Meandering Moose, 317 Marion St., to find a man with a gunshot wound to the chest. The suspect fled by foot immediately after the shooting.
The shooting victim was transported to Bonner General Health, where he later died of his wounds. His identity has not yet been released until authorities can notify his next of kin.
