Panhandle Blues Fest returns to Oldtown

Back for its 10th year, the Panhandle Bluesfest is bringing the blues to west Bonner County with a lively lineup of regional bands playing from Sept. 11-12 at Wendy & Whitey’s Wooded Acres, 2888 Freeman Lake Rd. in Oldtown.

Along with live music both nights, food and beverages will be available for purchase by local vendors. Dry camping is available on site for $10, with proceeds supporting local music departments.

Live music on Friday, Sept. 11 includes Iron & Ivory from 4:30-5:15 p.m.; Meghan Sullivan from 5:30-7 p.m. and the Meat Sweatz from 7:30-9:30 p.m., with an open mic night scheduled that evening as well.

Performances Saturday, Sept. 12 feature Maneyaxe from 12-2 p.m., Vaughn Jensen Band from 2:30-4:30 p.m., Sammy Eubanks from 5-7 p.m. and Bobby Patterson Band from 7:30-9:30 p.m.

A ticket for the whole weekend is $50 and just Saturday is $45. For more information, contact Billy at 208-448-2395.
