Van Halem’s career has taken him to some of New York’s top comedy productions, including 50 First Jokes, Newcomers at the Bell House and One Liner Madness. Not only is van Halem’s work famous through The Onion’s Clickhole and multiple viral shorts, but his New York comedy show Hot Gossip has sold out enough times to have even been recommended by The New York Times.

According to his website, his comedy “is typically enjoyed by women with bisexual energy [and] men who’ve never been in a fight.” If that isn’t you, well, show up anyway — you’re still almost guaranteed a laugh.
