Jeffrey Martin, Ltl Wlf to play IPA

Portland, Ore.-based folk artist Jeffrey Martin will play with special guest Ltl Wlf from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 7 at Idaho Pour Authority (203 Cedar St., in downtown Sandpoint).

The full-time touring artist has gained a following for his warm, thoughtful style of songwriting that has captivated and entertained audiences for the better part of two decades.

Martin’s music gets you right in the feels. Formerly a teacher with a degree in writing, Martin’s sonorous voice and pleasant guitar work exemplifies what folk music is capable of today. Every one of Martin’s many songs holds a depth and gravity that paint a body of work interested only in authenticity.

His albums span the spectrum from intricate live sessions (2025’s Alive, July 25 2025) to studio excellence (2023’s Thank God We Left The Garden and 2017’s One Go Around), always holding true to the thread that pulls all of his work together.

Opening for Martin will be Sandpoint duo Ltl Wlf, featuring songs written by Josh Hedlund, who plays alongside Justin Landis. The pair play raw, honest folk songs that capture a glimpse of what it’s like growing up and living in North Idaho.
