Rest in Peace (R.I.P.) RV Park, a locally owned and operated RV park south of Sagle, recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce.

Owned by Sean and Kristina Gavin, the park offers a place for travelers to stay while exploring North Idaho, with easy access to Sandpoint, Lake Pend Oreille, Silverwood and surrounding attractions.

The park features 17 RV sites, each with full hookups and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests can also access private bathrooms with showers, an on-site laundry facility, designated pet area and self-check-in.

The park’s name is a nod to its location near Westmond Cemetery. As longtime North Idaho residents, the Gavins bring their own unique backgrounds to the business. Sean is also the owner of Mountain View Construction and North Idaho Flood and Fire, while Kristina serves as a school nurse with the Lake Pend Oreille School District.

“Together, they take pride in their community roots and look forward to welcoming visitors while supporting the local businesses and attractions that make North Idaho such a special place,” the chamber stated in a news release.
