Dear Editor,
In the Reader’s April 12 issue, contributor David Phillips responded to the Festival’s unfortunate decision to do away with the “number line” system.
David really hit the nail on the head with a well-reasoned and articulate column. I am in total agreement and decry the fact that the Festival is becoming too expensive for many in the local population. I am not cognizant of the Festival’s fiscal problems and goals, nor do I offer a solution. I am sure they are competent and working industriously. Nevertheless, such feedback from locals is hoped to be useful.
