Bonner General Health announced Idaho Elks Rehab has presented the third and final installment of a three-year, $300,000 commitment to Performance Therapy Services.

Officials stated that the latest $100,000 donation marks the completion of “an investment in rehabilitation services that has helped expand access to advanced therapy technology and improve outcomes for patients throughout the region.”

“This partnership has had a tremendous impact on our patients and our community,” stated Michelle Tucker, clinic director of Performance Therapy Services. “We are incredibly grateful to Idaho Elks Rehab for their continued generosity and commitment to rehabilitation services. Their support has allowed us to invest in technology that truly changes lives.”

Among the most significant purchases made possible through the foundation’s support is a system that uses electrical stimulation to activate muscles while patients perform guided movements, helping to restore muscle mass in the legs, arms and core. Idaho Elks Rehab also assisted Performance Therapy Services with acquiring rehabilitation technology, including an exoskeleton that provides patients with opportunities to improve mobility and functional recovery.

“We have been delighted to partner with Performance Therapy Services in support of our mission of advancing physical rehabilitation across Idaho,” Idaho Elks Rehab stated. “Seeing these investments directly benefit patients and improve rehabilitation services in northern Idaho has made this partnership especially meaningful.”
