Candidates for the local elective offices that are up for vote in the Idaho primary election will be on the stage at a candidates’ forum Wednesday, May 11, 5:30-8 p.m. at the Sandpoint High School Auditorium, as well as streaming live online.

The public is invited to attend and see, hear and pose questions to the candidates. The live stream includes a chat function for those watching online to interact and also post questions for the candidates.
All candidates in both Republican and Democratic races have been invited; the races include Idaho Legislative District 1 and District 7 House and Senate; Bonner County Commissioner; and Bonner County Sheriff.
Not all races are contested, so after brief opening statements by all candidates who will be on the ballot, questions will be posed only for candidates in the contested primary races.
The Idaho primary is Tuesday, May 17.
The forum is sponsored by SandpointOnline.com and the Sandpoint Reader.
