Lake Pend Oreille School District will be holding a stakeholder meeting to aid in the search for the new district school superintendent. The meeting will take place at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, at the Ponderay Events Center and is expected to take 45-60 minutes.

The district hired consulting company McPherson and Jacobsen Executive Recruitment and Development Firm to coordinate the search. The recruitment firm will communicate with the general public at the meeting to hear their concerns and suggestions for the next superintendent of Lake Pend Oreille School District.

This is a free meeting, open to all Bonner County residents. For more information or questions, call Kelly Fisher at (208) 263-2184 ext. 1019.

LPOSD is seeking a new school superintendent after Shawn Woodward announced last week he would be taking a position in the Mead School District in Washington State.
